My brother who is in his late teen years is currently an amateur guitarist. He knows the basic guitar chords, flats and sharps. However, he did not take up formal guitar lessons but quite amusingly he did all the guitar lessons by researching online and applying these Guitar Lessons through practice.
Amazingly, my brother can do the strumming and plcuking of the guitar strings. He asked our eldest brother to also guide him as he progress along. All he wanted was to learn to play the guitar so instead of spending a hefty amount of cash enrolling in formal school, he persevered through online Guitar Lessons.
He started learning to play the guitar by knowing the parts of the guitar and its purposes as stated in the online guitar lessons. Then he began to imitate the chords as displayed in the Guitar Lessons chapters. From then on, everyday he played the guitar mastering one song to another and had successfully able to acquire the guitar lessons as indicated.
Now, he spends his free time strumming his guitar without the copy of the guitar lessons chords. He memorizes his favorite songs which he ususally plays everytime he gets hold of his precious guitar. And even if he already knows how to play the guitar, he still looks up his guitar lessons guide in order to freshen up his knowledge. He continues to go online research to learn guitar lessons. Only this time, he tries to learn a much more difficult level of playing.
